Oakville, ON, CANADA — March 10, 2008 —Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI) the industry’s leading developer of solutions for design, simulation, and costing of sheet metal components, today announces the expansion of two new industry training programs; Stamping Cost Optimization Workshop and Advanced Stamping Materials. These two new industry standard courses are in addition to the already enhanced training programs currently being offering to engineers and tool & die makers around the world.

“With the increased focus on material cost reductions and the use of higher strength materials, we have added the STAMPING COST OPTIMIZATION WORKSHOP & ADVANCED STAMPING MATERIALS training programs”, said Michael Gallagher, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, FTI. “These programs provide ideas for generating material cost savings and the foundation for understanding the theory and application of Advanced High Strength Materials. We now have over 35 courses designed directly for the sheet metal industry as well as several courses developed specifically for our client’s in-house requirements.”

FTI has been providing Stamping & Welding training courses to OEM’s, Tier I, & Tier II facilities for over 19 years. As a result, over 12,000 Designers, Engineers, Tool & Die Makers, Press Shop Operators, Mangers & Supervisors have benefited from FTI training.
