SolidNEST and Chuck Willis - A Perfect Fit

Cincinnati, Ohio - January 18, 2008 - SigmaTEK Systems International is pleased to announce the appointment of Chuck Willis, an accomplished player in the software industry, as the SolidNEST Group Manager. The wealth of knowledge Chuck possesses will have a profound impact on the development of the SolidNEST Group.

“Even in the short while that Chuck has been with us, he has made a formidable contribution to the outstanding growth of the SolidNEST product” says Glenn Binder, VP of Sales for SigmaTEK Systems International, LLC.

Chuck expressed his excitement about the opportunity of bringing a world-class product like SolidNEST to the SolidWorks® community.
“Since I joined the company, we have spent a lot of time further enhancing our product applications to meet the expectations of our current and future clients.”
SolidNEST has also expanded its distribution by recently signing agreements with Javelin Technologies and TriMech Manufacturing.
“The addition of these two SolidWorks Value Added Resellers (VARs) proves that there is a substantial untapped market for our products and that demand, combined with the resources both companies offer, is a formula for continued success and growth in 2008” – Chuck Willis, SolidNEST Group Manager

One of the first major events for SolidNEST, a SolidWorks Certified Gold Product, is SolidWorks World, from January 20th to the 23rd. The SolidNEST Group will be conducting live demonstrations of the software at the exhibition. SolidNEST operates inside of SolidWorks to optimize production and eliminate the need for an additional CAM program that transitions between SolidWorks and an NC code generator. Chuck Willis and his team will be available for questions or comments at SolidWorks World in San Diego. Please visit the SolidNEST Group at booth # 709.

Since the inception of SolidNEST, the development team has been working very closely with individual customers to ensure that each user’s needs are satisfactorily fulfilled. As SolidNEST has expanded, both resellers and end-users have given excellent feedback about the applications and benefits the software offers. Charles Maillet, CAD Manager of General Body & Equipment, said that “the SolidNEST tech support was really a selling point. The developers worked so closely with us that we felt like we were getting custom software. We initially chose SolidNEST because we wanted to move from manual nesting to a more automated process.” Mr. Maillet also commented that one of the major reasons General Body & Equipment selected SolidNEST was because of its seamless integration with SolidWorks.

SolidNEST’s distribution channels are experiencing a tremendous growth and have been continuously selected by many resellers. Managing Director of Javelin Technologies, John Carlan comments, “We are enthusiastic about being a SolidNEST reseller, and are eager to provide our SolidWorks customers with an integrated solution that helps them optimize production and maximize output.” John Kanney, President of TriMech Manufacturing says, “We are very excited to be part of the SigmaNEST family. As a large SolidWorks VAR with our TriMech Solutions division, we get requests all the time for a fabrication product that is fully integrated inside SolidWorks. With SolidNEST, we have the perfect solution to fit our customers’ needs.”
