Using 3D CAD Data Downstream
As 3D CAD data finds more and more applications outside of design departments, many 3D data formats enter the game, besides the better known 3D CAD formats that use NURBS or Bezier surfaces. For many years, native data conversion using STEP, IGES or native converters was regarded as the corner stone of interoperability. Read more about this development.
