ADAPT Corporation Becomes Independent Software Vendor Partner to Autodesk

Recognized as a World Leader in Structural Concrete Design Software Solutions

Redwood City, Calif., September 6, 2007 – ADAPT Corporation today announced its relationship with Autodesk as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV). Under this agreement, ADAPT Corporation will now offer a completely integrated modeling, analysis, design, drafting and documentation solution combining the power of ADAPT-Builder and Revit Structure software. ADAPT solutions are designed to enhance the business of mutual customers of Autodesk and ADAPT by leveraging the use of the 3D building model created in Revit Structure to analyze and design their concrete slab and mat foundations in ADAPT-Builder.

“At Autodesk, our goal is to continue our leadership in design with the most comprehensive solution,” said Masako Takagi, Director, ISV NA Channel at Autodesk. “We recognize that our ISV partners, such as ADAPT Corporation, have unique offerings that allow both parties to mutually extend value to our customer base.”

ADAPT Corporation, is a world-leading developer of software for the analysis and design of structural concrete slabs, mat foundations and segmentally constructed bridges. Its design software offers a unique 3D BIM-based approach for the detailed design of concrete structures that is directly compatible with 3D building models created in Revit Structure. Full bidirectional integration between Revit Structure and ADAPT-Builder minimizes the need to re-model structural elements, loading, geometry, etc., thus saving hours in redundant data entry and dramatically reducing coordination errors. Also, ADAPT’s Dynamic Rebar Design capabilities give structural engineers unprecedented ability to control the design, placement and AutoCAD software layout of reinforcement bars in 3D slab and foundation models.

“As an ISV partner, ADAPT Corporation can now offer a complete model-based solution for the design and documentation of structural concrete slabs and foundations,” adds Florian Aalami, President, ADAPT Corporation. “We have developed and promoted a 3D BIM-based approach to structural analysis for many years. Revit Structure finally gives our customers the ability to take advantage of the design data represented in ADAPT-Builder through its powerful modeling, coordination and documentation capabilities.”

By building customized products and services using the world’s leading design software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets, Autodesk ISV partners address niche requirements in the industries or markets they serve. These partners specialize in developing, bundling or integrating their software solutions with Autodesk applications, drawing on a deep understanding of their customers’ business requirements in areas such as architecture, building systems engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, geospatial information, manufacturing, data management, collaboration, education and government. Autodesk ISV partners benefit from Autodesk marketing, materials and events that effectively reach and serve more than eight million users worldwide.

ADAPT Corporation is headquartered in Redwood City, Calif., and services international markets from its office in Kolkata, India. Founded in 1982, ADAPT maintains clients in over 85 countries. The ADAPT-Revit Link and ADAPT bundled software programs are available immediately.
