blueshell Active Tables - More than a database grid
Harry von Borstel Computer Engineering has released blueshell Active Tables version 3 for Windows 95/8, ME, NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP; software to connect Visual Basic 5/6 and the languages of .NET to databases including Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Jet and more.
blueshell Active Tables are a control suite designed to minimize development time and cost, and handle all aspects of database client development. In blueshell Active Tables there are no isolated grid controls. Instead, table controls are used, supporting a grid view and a fully customizable form view. The table controls are connected together, observing the database's entity relationships. This way blueshell Active Tables reduces both development time and cost.
While the use of wizards has recently become popular, the developer often finds that any benefits gained from this approach are lost as soon as any form of alteration is required. For this reason, blueshell Active Tables doesn't take a short-term wizard-based approach. Every step of the development is taken at the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) of Visual Studio .NET or Visual Basic 5/6, enabling the developer to redefine anything at any time. blueshell Active Tables means no rapid generating with hard editing, but rapid generating and easy editing.
blueshell Active Tables has a state-of-the-art Graphical User Interface (GUI), which handles everything that users may do with their databases. Using blueshell Active Tables in a developer's database applications allows them to create a consistent look and feel in as short a time as possible.
blueshell Active Tables for .NET is one of the first products for Microsoft's new .NET platform, and offers full support for Visual Studio .NET. With blueshell Active Tables for .NET Database Programming is easier than ever before.
blueshell Active Tables for ActiveX and blueshell Active Tables for.NET are priced at $250 (US) each. Further information and a free 40-day trial version are available from
