COADE Discovery Tour: CADWorx Plant Design Suite 2008

HOUSTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—August 1, 2007— COADE announced today the completion of the first part of the U.S. leg of the COADE Discovery Tour, a series of educational sessions featuring the just-released CADWorx Plant Design Suite 2008 that highlights new capabilities such as tighter integration between CADWorx Plant Professional and CADWorx P&ID Professional, allowing users to see and select components from the process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) for placement directly into the 3D model. The May 17th Houston session had a record attendance of 65, and the July 18th event in Denver and July 26th event in Tulsa also drew big crowds. The next tour stop, August 22nd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is expecting a capacity crowd as well. Others are planned for St. Louis, Minneapolis, Seattle and the Northeast U.S., with future overseas stops slated in conjunction with COADE's Global Network Partners and resellers.

"We are pleased with the capacity crowds this year's COADE Discovery Tour: CADWorx Plant Design Suite series is generating here in the U.S. which is in part due to the huge increases in the CADWorx user base over the past several years," explained John Brinlee, sales manager of Plant Design Solutions at COADE. "Participants' comments have been overwhelmingly positive because of the non-sales approach of the agenda, plus our users have been delighted to meet Joe Dixon, our new Plant Design Solutions product manager, to get an overview of COADE's future plans and a direct conduit into CADWorx development."

"I think these record numbers are because our primary focus has been on delivering what the industry needs," said Vornel Walker, manager of Marketing and Partner Development at COADE. "The word is out that the CADWorx Plant Design Suite delivers on its promises, and they want to see first hand how these valuable tools can benefit them in improving productivity, winning repeat business and producing quality deliverables in a fraction of the time."

The CADWorx Plant Design Suite for process plant design offers intelligent drawing-to-database connectivity, advanced levels of automation and easy-to-use design tools. Because of these distinct advantages, it has been rapidly adopted by EPC firms and owner operators in the process, power, water treatment, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and semiconductor industries.
