The global imagery has been tiled and reprojected to UTM zones and is supplied as Geotiff files, compatible with MSI PlaNET. The clutter data has been updated using recent land use/land cover data, and re-classed to 8 types specific to RF planning.
The 500m data is intended for rapid visualization of project areas of interest. "Network planners and engineers are often faced with the lack of any data at the early stages of bid exploration and preparation, particularly for areas outside of Europe and North America. We are committed to filling this need" says Justin Hyland of ComputaMaps.
The 500m data can be downloaded as zipped files from the map-based server, based on UTM tile locations at http://www.computamaps.com
All the required MSI PlaNET index, projection and menu files are included for rapid integration into most RF planning tools.
ComputaMaps is a manufacturer of high resolution 3D geographic databases for use in wireless network design.
