"Our theme for this year's event was Innovation by Design," said Janet C. Wylie, President and CEO of Engineous. "Our goal was to show how we can improve the culture of innovation in our customer organizations by putting leading edge tools in the hands of more users. This is a fundamental goal of our product vision and our partner strategy as well."
"The Symposium and workshops represented a perfect opportunity to showcase how tightly integrated our product and services strategy is with those of our partners," said J.P. Evans, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development for Engineous. "In addition to sharing application examples and best practices, our customers were able to see first hand the advantages of technology integration and component based frameworks. Engineous was also able to outline a strategy for extending our core competencies from engineering processes to business processes through SOA integration frameworks."
The event closed with a customer validation session where key leaders from several industries were able to provide input on Engineous' product plan for the next two major releases. Companies represented included GE, AAI, Caterpillar, GM, PSA, Goodrich, Honeywell, Rolls Royce, UTRC and AugustaWestland Helicopters.
