Another Success For Creaform At Solidworks World 2007

Levis, Canada, February 12, 2007 - Known as "the technological breakout in the 3D digitizing world", the Handyscan 3D was presented by Creaform at the 2007 SolidWorks World conference and exposition. More than 3900 people attended this event, and there was a great anticipation around the Handyscan 3D, the innovative 3D laser-scanner developed and manufactured by Creaform.

Potential customers, journalists, resellers, and the general public as well, were captivated by the portability, accuracy, power, performance, speed, ease of use and highly advance technology found in the Handyscan 3D.

"The laser scan technologies are now known and used by SoliWorks resellers. The Handyscan 3D was well received and everyone was interested in our innovative technology" reports David Gagné, program manager at Creaform, while participating at the 2007 SolidWorks World International user conference and exposition.

During the 4 days of exposition and conference, Creaform received a significant number of leads as usual and a similar number of demonstrations have been booked by interested parties.

Built with high-definition cameras, a crosshair laser beam, and an ergonomic design the Handyscan 3D laser-scanner applications include: reverse engineering, design & manufacturing, inspection & measurement, digital mockup & simulations, multimedia, medical applications, as well as art & museum.

The Handyscan 3D will set you "arm free".
