DISTENE Releases TetMesh-GHS3D V4.0

February 21, 2007 -- DISTENE, the leading provider of meshing technologies on the CAD/CAE software developers market, is pleased to announce the release of version 4.0 of TetMesh-GHS3D, the ultimate tetrahedral mesh generator of the CAD/CAE market.

This new release brings many new features, such as the user-driven balance between speed and quality, a better local size of cells, the removal of certain limits, but the most important of all being the tuning of algorithms so as to make the best out of 64 bit architectures.

This work allows users to bypass 32 bit addressing limitations, but most of all, enables a better precision of generated meshes, thus pushing the limits of automatic mesh generation even further away.

Mark Loriot, CEO of Distene, comments: " with this new version, we are very pleased to be able to bring forth on the market an efficient solution to the problem of meshing very large or very complex industrial configurations of several dozens of millions of cells, while keeping the speed and reliability which made our reputation. This work will of course also benefit to more modest needs where, for example, accuracy is mandatory".
