Teksoft To Demonstrate CAMWorks At SolidWorks World 2007

Scottsdale, AZ – February 1, 2007 – Teksoft Inc., developer of CAMWorks, today announced that it will be featuring CAMWorks with advanced techniques to maximize machining efficiencies at SolidWorks World 2007, February 4-7, 2007 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Teksoft will be offering personalized one-on-one demonstrations of CAMWorks 2007 plus the opportunity for users to speak with the company's top application engineers and executives. As a SolidWorks Gold Certified Partner, the company will also present "Machining Intelligence for Automation" at the Certified Partner Theater on Sunday, February 4, at 3:00 p.m. The speaker, James Lurtsema, senior applications engineer, will demonstrate CAMWorks’ seamless integration within SolidWorks as well as a suite of powerful and adaptable automation tools to boost shop productivity.

"In today’s worldwide manufacturing landscape, projects are more complex than ever before and manufacturing proficiencies are often tied directly to a single programmer’s proprietary knowledge," said Domenic Lanzillotta, vice president of Sales for Teksoft. "CAMWorks, the premier solids based CAM solution, confronts these difficult scenarios by combining true best-of-breed technologies and world-class adaptable automation tools to continually capture best practices thus maximizing machining efficiencies."

CAMWorks was the first fully integrated CAM solution designed exclusively to operate inside SolidWorks. This close integration facilitates machining processes with familiar and easy-to-use commands with the click of a button, never having to leave your SolidWorks session to generate toolpath, the elimination of time-consuming file transfers, utilization of SolidWorks geometry ensuring that the part machined is exactly the same part modeled. In booth #548, Teksoft will provide in-depth demonstrations of all the new capabilities in CAMWorks throughout the three day conference.
