Reza S. Sadeghi has been promoted to chief technology officer and senior vice president of product development, after 15 years with the Company in a variety of technical executive roles. He will continue to drive MSC.Software's core solver technology as the Company expands its multidiscipline offering. Mr. Sadeghi will continue to report to Glenn R. Wienkoop, president and chief operating officer.
Douglas W. Peterson has been promoted to senior vice president of product development after successfully launching MSC.Software's SimEnterprise product strategy. Mr. Peterson has held a variety of positions after coming to MSC.Software through the MDI acquisition and will continue to focus on the rapid evolution of MSC.Software's services oriented architecture and the related end-to-end products including SimDesigner, SimXpert and SimManager. Mr. Peterson will continue to report to Glenn Wienkoop.
Douglas W. Campbell has been promoted to vice president, general counsel from his previous position of vice president, deputy general counsel. Mr. Campbell came to MSC.Software from Kendle International Corporation where he held the position of vice president, general counsel and secretary. Mr. Campbell helped to establish the Company's legal department and manage its support of the Company's operations. He will continue to report to John A. Mongelluzzo, executive vice president of business administration, legal affairs and secretary.
Stephen S. Bodnar has been promoted to vice president of marketing and product management and has been given wider responsibility that includes product management and global marketing. He previously held the title of vice president of product management, coming to MSC.Software with more than 10 years experience in the PLM industry. Mr. Bodnar has worked closely with Mr. Peterson and Mr. Sadeghi to evolve MSC.Software's enterprise strategy. He will continue to report to Glenn Wienkoop.
