Jury Chairman Paul Buysse on the Onderneming van het Jaar 2006’: ”For me, the most important aspect of this election is the enthusiastic professionalism of the companies that are hopefully a symbol for the many thousands of entrepreneurs and company managers who, sometimes against all fiscal or economic trends, drive their companies forward to a profitable and socially responsible future. In this context, Metris was elected because of its relentless inventive dynamism, professional elaboration of an original strategic development, and application of the essential basic concepts of sound management. This young company possesses the potential to develop into a major world player by judiciously pushing back its technological and geographic horizons.”
