3DQuickPress Supports SolidWorks x64

3DQuickPress supports Windows XP Professional x64 version for SolidWorks x64

Hong Kong, Nov. 2, 2006 – 3D QuickTools Ltd. today announced the Beta release of Windows XP Professional x64 version of 3DQuickPress, the industry-leading fastest 3D die design software and a strategic SolidWorks Gold Product. 3DQuickPress x64 gives additional capacity and speed to the advanced die design users.

In the metal stamping industries, it is common to have die assemblies containing thousands of components. With the RAM memory limitations of 32-bit Windows, users need to partition a very large die set assembly into pieces to get the job done at an acceptable computer speed. Between the practical parametrics of 3DQuickPress automation and the new 64-bit environment, users will complete their complex jobs without the redundant work of partitioning. Tool designers will find this a true technology breakthrough which brings significant productivity. It saves valuable engineering time by using the extended power of the 64-bit hardware and OS. Users can optimize their die design by using the additional computer resources for very large die assemblies with many components.
