Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect Training Manual Now Available

Columbia, Maryland (October 26, 2006)-Nemetschek North America is pleased to announce the release of Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect. Written by Steve Hader, this new training manual teaches a practical approach to project workflow. The manual has been expanded to demonstrate the new tools and technologies found in version 12, including the completely redesigned user interface, Navigation palette, live sections, new building objects, and more.

Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect, like its popular predecessor Home Design with VectorWorks Architect, guides the user through the entire home design process. The education process begins with a blank screen and ends with construction documents all in the same file, recommending an optimum workflow along the way. Fully-illustrated exercises walk the user through program and project setup, laying out floor plans, creating architectural elements, using basic visualization tools, working with multiple levels, and creating construction documents. The manual also includes two sections on advanced viewport creation and advanced editing techniques.

"Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect is easy to navigate, complete with hyperlinks and page numbers for different processes at the beginning of each section to provide everything the user needs at a glance," says author Hader. "The goal is to give the user a very detailed how-to manual that is also superb as a reference guide-not to mention a tour de force of the tools in version 12. Home Design with VectorWorks Architect was one of our hottest-selling training manuals, and we're interested to find out what users think of Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect."

Step by Step with VectorWorks Architect is provided as a PDF, so users can take advantage of the convenience an electronic document offers. Users can work within VectorWorks Architect while working through the manual at the same time. A complete learning experience, the PDF includes navigation links, built-in search features, and links to related VectorWorks help topics.
