KUKA Robotics Introduces New Family Of Compact Six-Axis Robots

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 24, 2006— KUKA Robotics Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of industrial robots, today announced the introduction of its KUKA KR5 Sixx robot family. The new robot family is designed for customers with applications requiring 6-axis functionality for long reach tasks. The new robots when combined with KUKA Robotics' user friendly PC-based control platform gives customers an extremely easy to use and easy to learn pick and place automation solution. The new robots broaden the KUKA product line to include compact space-saving robots that are among the fastest and most reliable robots in their class.
