Engineous Software To Introduce New Multi-Run Tool Suite

CARY, N.C.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—July 11, 2006— Engineous Software, provider of award-winning integration, automation, and design optimization software and related strategic services, announced today they will introduce iSIGHT for MD at this year's MSC VPD conference. The new solution extends the capabilities of MD Patran, MD Nastran and MSC.Adams with state-of-the-art multi-run technologies including design-of-experiments (DOE), optimization and robust design methods.

Key features in the new iSIGHT for MD include stochastic design improvement techniques and a Parameter Correlation Map to its existing library of multi-run tools. Also included are MSC-specific interfaces within the related MSC MD environment. These interfaces have specifically been developed to provide flexibility to easily integrate with Engineous' multi-run design exploration technologies.

"As a result of our joint efforts to provide a comprehensive multi-disciplinary (MD) solution to our customers, we are excited with Engineous' introduction of iSIGHT for MD. " said Andy Meyer, vice president, corporate marketing, MSC Software. " When combined with our MD Nastran product, this joint solution provides our customers with more understanding of design sensitivity, allowing engineers to better manage risk and improve product quality, reliability and performance."

Alex van der Velden, VP Engineering, Engineous Software, Inc., will present in the Technology Session at the MSC VPD Conference on July 18. Attendees will receive an overview on the key elements of the enabling technologies. The presentation will also focus on the benefits of the stochastic improvements, correlation maps and engineering data mining in decision support.
