Kuruvilla Lukose Appointed
Chief Technology Officer – Altair Engineering India
Bangalore, July 11, 2006: Bangalore based Altair Engineering has announced the appointment of Kuruvilla Lukose as Chief Technology Officer – Altair Engineering India. In his role, he will not only provide technical leadership to all the technical groups in India, but also provide new approaches and techniques for scaling to meet the ever increasing demands without losing out on quality.
Lukose is an IT industry veteran with over 25 years of experience. He has a vast and varied experience profile having worked in software development at SDRC, Ohio for 10 years and later on heading the technical marketing position for Silicon Graphics in India. Subsequently he was the principal consultant to TAFE helping them set up their engineering services division and followed this up by working with Strand Genomics as their Chief Information Officer.
Kuruvilla Lukose is a post graduate from Cornell University and a graduate from IIT – Chennai. Prior to joining Altair Engineering, Kuruvilla Lukose was a consultant to National Institute of Design, Silicon Graphics and Aeronautical Development Agency for high end visualization and engineering projects.
