An EDS review board appointed the new Fellows based on criteria that measured their academic achievements, track record of creating world-class solutions for EDS http://www.eds.com clients and their invention history.

The EDS Fellows average 24 years of industry experience and futuristic technology implementations. In total, they hold six doctorates, seven masters' of business administration degrees and 12 master's degrees. Only 31 active employees of EDS' worldwide workforce of 118,000 currently hold this honor. The six new EDS Fellows are:
Dr. Rolf Kubli
Kubli, based in Zurich, Switzerland, is the Chief Technology Officer for EDS Switzerland. He is a recognized expert and speaker on trend assessment, IT architecture change and governance, leveraging more than 25 years of experience matching technology strategies to business priorities and leading innovation in various industries.
Kubli is a member of the board for META Group Switzerland and serves on several advisory boards, including the Global Airline Industry Program, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Enabling Grids for E-sciencE (EGEE) project of the European Commission Industry Forum Steering Committee.
Kubli has published more than 30 papers and holds three patents.
Sukhbinder "Sukhi" Gill
Gill, based in London, is the ATLAS Consortium Chief Technology Officer and Strategy and innovation Director for the UK Ministry of Defence's Information Infrastructure (DII) program. DII is the largest IT project in Europe with 150,000 seats and more than 300,000 users across all of the UK armed forces.
Gill has 23 years of experience as an enterprise architect establishing successful partnerships with key business sponsors, influencing strategic and architectural direction, and ensuring that organizations gain significant business advantage through strategic deployment of technology and process innovation.
William D Bone
Bone, based in Detroit, Mich., is the global chief technologist for GM Product Development. In this role, Bone and his team create competitive advantage and accelerate product delivery using technology and global processes as key enablers. Additionally, Bone supports EDS Fellows Program activities for manufacturing clients worldwide.
Bone has more than 32 years of experience in the IT industry -- all focused upon major systems architecture, design, validation, deployment, and operations.
Schmidt, based in Rutledge, Ga., is the Chief Architect for EDS' Healthcare Applications Industry Unit. He has extensive experience in healthcare applications and IT systems and oversees the development of EDS' MetaVance, Atlantes Care Management and Business Integration Component solutions.
Schmidt also developed the technology architecture to support EDS' vision of the Digital Health Plan. He leads the healthcare architects' practice which deploys this architecture.
Gonos, based in Folsom, Calif., is the Chief Technologist for EDS' CalWIN project in United States Government Solutions. As an EDS Fellow, Gonos provides leadership for the global government industry.
Gonos has more than 20 years of IT experience with expertise in enterprise architecture, software archeology, large-scale systems, capacity and performance planning, and business and technology assessments. Other areas of expertise include IT strategy and planning, performance and scalability diagnostics, full systems lifecycle design and implementation, and health and human services solutions.
Greenway, based in London, is the Chief Architect for the EDS EMEA Manufacturing industry affinity group. In this role, Greenway is responsible for maintaining and growing a group of highly skilled manufacturing enterprise architecture consultants.
Greenway has 22 years of experience in enterprise architecture, multi-year planning, enterprise modeling, security policies, mobile computing and enterprise application implementations. He has extensive experience in change management and training disciplines, having recently developed a training scenario for EMEA Architects Practice "Next Generation Architects" candidates.
