Synergis Engineering Design Solutions Kicks Off Manufacturing Growth Initiative

Expansion includes new office opening, hiring additional experts and rolling out new manufacturing-specific programs and support

QUAKERTOWN, Pa., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Synergis(R) Technologies Engineering Design Solutions, an Autodesk Premier Solutions Provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, today announced it has embarked on a growth initiative that will increase company support, service and product offerings for its manufacturing customers. The expansion encompasses several key advancements including the opening of a new office in New Jersey, hiring additional industry experts to form an even stronger Manufacturing Solutions team, and continuing to roll out new programs and seminars, including webcasts, free monthly manufacturing solutions test drives, and Autodesk Inventor users groups in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

"Synergis Engineering Design Solutions is a perfect example of an Autodesk Premier Solutions Partner who truly understands their clients' needs. They have a proven track record of going the extra mile to make Autodesk software users successful," said Steve Blum, vice president of Americas Sales at Autodesk. "We applaud and strongly support Synergis' decision to expand their Manufacturing efforts in the Mid-Atlantic region - our customers will certainly benefit from it. Their current solutions-oriented approach and strong customer following will positively factor into the high quality of expanded services and individualized attention they will deliver.

Synergis Engineering Design Solutions opened a training center in Marlton, New Jersey, its second in the state, to meet South New Jersey's growing demand for its software services and support. The new Marlton office complements the growing list of Synergis locations including Pennsylvania-based offices in Quakertown, Philadelphia, Blue Bell and York as well as the additional New Jersey-based office in Morristown.

"More than ever, our manufacturing customers are relying on us to be their trusted advisor - one who can help them identify software solutions, master their design tools, share data beyond their engineering department through their extended enterprise, and seamlessly manage their product development process," said David Sharp, President and Chief Executive Officer of Synergis Technologies. "We plan to exceed our customers' expectations by increasing our expertise in the manufacturing sector, adding a new training facility to have greater capacity to deliver our high standard of consulting and implementation services, and delivering new programs and seminars focused specifically on manufacturing solutions."

As part of the growth initiative, Synergis Engineering Design Solutions hired several industry experts who will focus on manufacturing training, professional services, sales and marketing. Additions to Synergis' technical team include manufacturing design applications engineers Ron Seiple and Steve Muller, each with 20+ years of experience who will be dedicated to manufacturing customers in Central PA and New Jersey/Southeastern PA, respectively. They will join Synergis' current team of manufacturing application engineers who are certified Autodesk Inventor experts and implementation specialists, also with an average of 20 years of experience.

Last month Synergis hired Darrell Schroat as their new director of sales and marketing for Manufacturing Solutions. Schroat, with more than 20 years of experience in senior sales, marketing and systems analysts positions, will be focused on expanding Synergis' sales and support coverage. To offer customers more focused local attention, the company also hired three additional account managers, including Rich Gainer for Central PA, Mary Kerr for Northeastern PA and North New Jersey and Hanna Imperial-Cannon, for New Jersey and Philadelphia county. Plus to provide additional inside sales support and knowledge-base for customers, Synergis hired Kelly Daley as a customer support representative.

The last element of Synergis Engineering Design Solutions' expansion is the delivery of additional programs and seminars, such as more webcasts and free weekly hands-on test drives to give customers the opportunity to experience Autodesk Manufacturing design technology in an instructor-led environment. In addition, the company is putting effort into building a sense of community among their Inventor customers by sponsoring and hosting Autodesk Inventor user groups in York, Lehigh Valley, and South Jersey in the coming months.
