3D Systems Prices InVision LD 3-D Printer At $14,900

VALENCIA, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 1, 2006— 3D Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: TDSC), a leading provider of rapid 3-D printing, prototyping and manufacturing solutions, announced today that as part of its longer-term 3-D Printing portfolio repositioning and expansion plans, it will offer its compact desktop InVision(TM) LD 3-D Printer at the affordable price of $14,900.

The InVision(TM) LD is the industry's first 3D Printer to be priced below $15,000 making it the most affordable 3-D Printer in its class and accessible to a broader audience of engineers, marketers and students world-wide.

"We are enormously proud to be the first to deliver a truly affordable 3-D Printing solution to our customers, one that will no doubt go a long way towards improving our customer's bottom line," said Abe Reichental, 3D Systems' president and chief executive officer. "Our new price point combined with our recently announced InVision(TM) LD 30% speed enhancement offers an even more productive and cost-effective desktop 3-D Printer for the earliest stages of product design, enabling more and more designers, engineers and marketers to build more parts faster."

"We are delighted with our private label OEM arrangement with 3D Systems and are very pleased that we were able to provide 3D Systems with the most affordable desktop 3-D Printer in our industry," said Oded Valfer, CEO for Solidimension Inc. "We believe that 3D Systems is the right marketing partner for our new, improved and vastly faster SD300 printer because of their strong commitment to field presence and expert services' capabilities. Their strong focus on 3-D printing, which we believe to be one of the fastest growing opportunities within our industry, is exactly what Solidimension needs from a marketing partner."

The InVision(TM) LD 3-D printer builds complex geometrical shapes for communication and concept modeling applications by fusing, masking and trimming layers of VisiJet(TM) LD plastic into solid parts. It is also ideal for engineering and industrial design departments within educational institutions, and other significant market places such as electrical and consumer equipment manufacturers.

"With this bold repositioning of our InVision(TM) LD printer, we continue to enhance and broaden our portfolio of affordable and efficient 3-D printers, which already include the InVision(TM) SR and InVision(TM) HR 3-D printers as well as our recently announced InVision(TM) DP dental system," continued Reichental. "We remain committed to transforming the way our customers design, develop and manufacture new products and to supporting our customers working through a professional reseller network armed with expert service capabilities. We are continuing to develop additional 3-D Printers with increased functionality, affordable price points and attractive value proposition to meet and exceed the needs of our growing customer base."
