In September 2005, UGS announced a new Global Channel Program and the UGS Velocity Series(TM) portfolio targeted at serving the mid-market. The new channel program is designed to increase channel capacity by 50 percent in 2006.
"Our commitment to channel expansion is evident with these results over the last few months," said Kerry Grimes, vice president, Mid Market and Global Channel Sales, UGS. "We realize the value our channel partners bring in delivering products to the mid-market. We have expanded relationships with existing partners as well as secured new partners. We are encouraged by our partners' positive feedback on our new Global Channel Program."
UGS built its new channel partner program to provide a flexible framework that fits the growing needs of its channel partners. UGS channel partners are positioned to help their customers transform their process of innovation by delivering the world's leading portfolio of integrated PLM solutions.
"Our goal is to find the right partners and enable them with best in class support, services and programs," adds Grimes. "Our new program educates and rewards partners for customer retention and best practices in addition to volume."
