Intergraph Technology Deployed In National Security Agency Program

System to Protect NSA Facilities Throughout Washington, D.C., Area

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Nov. 8, 2005— Intergraph Corporation (NASDAQ: INGR) today announced the National Security Agency (NSA) has accepted the initial release of a highly integrated electronic security system that includes Intergraph incident management software.

Intergraph is part of a team led by Lockheed Martin that is working on a program to enhance the physical security of NSA buildings. In cooperation with AT&T, Lenel Systems International and Intelligent Decisions, the team completed successful acceptance testing two months ahead of the contract schedule. Once the system is fully operational, it will protect NSA facilities in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

NSA is a key member of the U.S. intelligence community and requires a high degree of confidentiality. The agency collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information from foreign electronic signals for national foreign intelligence and counterintelligence purposes and to support military operations. NSA is also tasked with preventing foreign adversaries from gaining access to classified national security information.

"Intergraph is recognized as a leader among homeland security, public safety and military intelligence software and services providers," said Halsey Wise, Intergraph president and chief executive officer. "We have long and successful relationships with many federal agencies, including NSA. We're honored to be part of this vital program designed to ensure that NSA facilities are as secure as possible."

"Intergraph's incident management capabilities are highly respected, and we have successfully teamed with them in the past on critical-mission programs," noted Jim Gaughan, director of Critical Infrastructure Protection Solutions for Lockheed Martin Transportation and Security Solutions. "Achieving system acceptance, in which Intergraph played a key role, is an essential step toward deploying the new system. We look forward to continuing our successful work with the NSA and Intergraph on this highly integrated, comprehensive program."
