Agile Software Receives Frost & Sullivan's 2005 Customer Value Enhancement Award

PLM Vendor Is Acknowledged as Market Leader in the Electronics and High Tech Industries

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Agile Software Corporation (NASDAQ: AGIL), a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, has received Frost and Sullivan's 2005 Customer Value Enhancement Award in the PLM category. In addition, Agile was recognized as the PLM market leader in the electronics and high tech industries.

The award is presented each year by Frost & Sullivan to the company that has best demonstrated the ability to expand its customer base while maintaining its existing installed base, and has created more innovative value and enhancement strategies than competing vendors. The award recognizes the company's successful sales entry, customer acquisition and service strategies, and the degree to which those strategies have met customers' stated needs and requirements.

According to the award evaluation, authored by Frost & Sullivan analyst Kishan Bhat, "Agile has been consistently recognized for its capability to understand the customer needs and its ability to build solutions that have enabled customers to achieve market leadership positions within their industries by improving the business processes and saving on costs. The company has achieved this status based on its customer-focused approach to solve business problems in the electronics and high-tech manufacturing industries. The company has witnessed repeat business volume and added new customers year after year. This is evident in the revenue growth figure of around 30% in 2004."

Bhat also stated, "Agile has been acknowledged by its customers as the provider of superior solutions and approaches to help optimize product development processes, and has delivered business value across cross-functional and multi-disciplined organizations. Agile was selected to receive Frost & Sullivan's Customer Value Enhancement Award in recognition of its consistent excellence in providing value-enhanced PLM solutions and services to the customers within the electronics and high tech manufacturing industries."

In 2004, Frost & Sullivan recognized Agile for holding the highest share for PLM software sales in the life sciences industry.

"Customer satisfaction has always been, and continues to be, our top priority here at Agile," said Bryan Stolle, Agile CEO. "This award from Frost & Sullivan is especially meaningful to us because customer interviews played a large part in the evaluation process. To be recognized for helping our customers achieve their market leadership positions through their use of Agile solutions is an honor, and is something we will continue to strive for in the future."
