Bridgeport/Delcam Announce Free ?European Solutions? Series of Hard Metal Machining Seminars

Bridgeport Machines, Bridgeport Connecticut USA (A Goldman Industrial Group Company) and Delcam, Birmingham, UK, have jointly announced an intensive series of free educational seminars on the advancements in hard metal machining. David Barber, Marketing Manager of Bridgeport, observes, “Without question machine tool technology is advancing rapidly. Our global reach in combination with Delcam’s deep software knowledge permits us to develop a ´┐ŻEuropean Solutions’ based series of true educational seminars.”

The series, which begins in Los Angeles on February 25, will feature technical experts from both companies who will bring the US manufacturers up to date on the latest in hard metal machining technology. Machine topics will include advanced machine design through Finite Element Analysis, Dynamic Thermal Compensation, High-Speed Control and advantages of digital drives. New high-efficiency CAM strategies, both for cutting and for entering and exiting tool paths, will also be covered in the program.
