ThomasNet North American Manufacturing Scholarship Application Postmark Deadline is July 1

NEW YORK — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 28, 2013 — ThomasNet® today reminded students that the deadline for its North American Manufacturing Scholarship Program is around the corner, and all applications must be postmarked by July 1, 2013. The company has been accepting applications since April 1 from students who dream of a career in manufacturing.

ThomasNet is providing up to thirty (30) $1,000 scholarships for students who plan to major in engineering or supply chain management/business operations, or to study a skilled trade. Applicants must be graduating U.S. high school seniors or Canadian secondary school students with plans to attend a two-year or four-year college, or a vocational-technical school. ThomasNet is inviting other manufacturers to support the Scholarship Program by signing up for any of ThomasNet.com’s free newsletters, including IMT Career Journal, which calls attention to the many exciting careers in manufacturing.
