Cabinet Vision will be demonstrating its award-winning software at the Ligna exhibition in Germany. Visitors to Booth K45 in Hall 14 at the show, to be held in the Exhibition Grounds in Hannover between May 6 and 10, will see the new functionality within our full range of products.
Cabinet Vision is the woodworking industry’s most widely used design for manufacturing software capable of custom cabinet and room design, photo realistic renderings, material optimization, full costing direct from design, with cutlists and bill of materials. Combined with the powerful S2M Center, Cabinet Vision automatically creates machine ready G-Code for CNC routers, point-to-point machines, panel saws, drill and dowel machines, chop saws and other CNC machinery.
The latest release includes several features highlighted by automatic lighting, greatly enhancing the quality of renderings used for customer presentations.
Through a partnership with BLUM the product now imports BXF files from Blum Dynaplan and automates all machining for their designs and components. In addition, Autocad designs can now be imported straight into Cabinet Vision’s S2M Center, for even faster toolpath creation, nesting and machining.
According to Cabinet Vision customer Jonah Coleman of Fletcher Wood Products, “The changes to usability, work-flow, and performance in this version are killer. I typically run about an hour per 2 to 5 thousand dollars of project value in shop drawings. I have now laid out several jobs at nearly half that in V8.”
Details and demonstrations of the newest Screen-To-Machine™ module (S2M Essential) will also be available in the booth, highlighting a perfect fit for small companies looking to automate their CNC production.
