GibbsCAM to Support Multiple Machine Tool Builders at IMTS

Parts to be Programmed with GibbsCAM 2012+ and Live Personal Demonstrations

MOORPARK, CA – August 27, 2012 – Gibbs and Associates, developer of GibbsCAM® software for programming CNC machine tools and a Cimatron (NASDAQ: CIMT) company, today announced that it will support various machine tool companies with its GibbsCAM 2012+ NC programming software at the International Machine Technology Show (IMTS 2012), September 10-15, 2012, at McCormick Place, Chicago. Some machine tool builders will be machining parts programmed with GibbsCAM, while others will also host GibbsCAM demonstrations, highlighting the software’s latest capabilities and its leadership in programming high-speed machining and multi-task and multi-axis machines. GibbsCAM 2012+ includes new features and enhancements across the product line, with a continued emphasis on ease of use, so that customers can achieve the highest speed, accuracy, efficiency and reliability in programming. In addition to supporting machine tool partners, GibbsCAM will have its own exhibit in Booth E-3310.

Machine tool partners who will be highlighting GibbsCAM 2012+ in their booths are: DMG/Mori Seiki USA (booth S-8900), Doosan Infracore America (booth S-8100), Hardinge (booth S-8148), Mazak Corporation (booth S-8300), Methods Machine, representing Nakamura-Tome and Matsuura (booth S-9119), Romi Machine Tools, Ltd. (booth S-8792), Tornos S.A. (booth S-8666), Toyoda Machinery USA (booth S-8319), and Willemin-Macodel (booth S-9341). In addition, GibbsCAM 2012+ will be featured in the exhibit of on-machine probing partner, Renishaw, in booth E-5530.

“We have supported and collaborated with machine tool partners for thirty years, to always ensure the easiest, most efficient programming for their latest technologies,” said Robb Weinstein, Senior Vice President of Sales and Strategic Planning of Gibbs and Associates. “As a result, GibbsCAM is usually chosen as the NC programming solution for the most difficult-to-program machines. We look forward to complementing our partners’ products at IMTS 2012 with demonstrations of GibbsCAM’s capabilities in programming parts for all types of CNCs, while demonstrating our superiority in programming multi-tasking and multi-axis machines, which is now faster and more efficient than ever before. In their booths and ours, we will highlight the recent speed and performance enhancements in GibbsCAM 2012+, which are all designed to reduce programming time, reduce cycle time, and increase accuracy and efficiency, while remaining easy to learn and easy to use.”
