Shaft Collars From Stafford Manufacturing Protect Expensive Shafts

WILMINGTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Jul 19, 2011 -- Stafford Manufacturing Corp. manufactures and markets a full line of clamp-type shaft collars that feature a smooth bore to prevent gouging expensive shafts or the crushing of tubing.

Stafford Clamp-Type Shaft Collars feature a smooth bore to evenly distribute holding power and provide a sure grip without gouging expensive shafts or crushing tubing. Unlike set-screw collars, these non-marring split collars will not dig into the surface of a shaft when tightened.

Ideal for use with polished stainless steel shafts and thin-walled tubing or acrylic tubing, Stafford Clamp-Type Shaft Collars come in one- and two-piece styles made from aluminum, steel, plated steel, and stainless steel. Standard sizes range from 1/8" to 6" (3mm to 75mm) I.D.
