Geometric releases NestLib® 2011 R2 with improved material savings
New features in nesting to meet advance cutting requirements

Mumbai, India, June 29, 2011: Geometric Limited (BSE: 532312, NSE: GEOMETRIC), a leader in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Engineering Services and Offshore Product Development (OPD) solutions and technologies, today announced the release of NestLib® 2011 R2 with the improvements in grid nesting algorithm and new features to meet advance cutting requirements.

The highlights of NestLib® 2011 R2 are: 
• Material saving, using the improved grid algorithm
• Multi–tool support for cutting different edges in a part by incorporating different tool compensation in the nested layout
• Capability to handle piercing data attached to a part while nesting
