SprutCAM selects ModuleWorks 5-Axis

ModuleWorks, the leading supplier of CAD/CAM components for 3-5-Axis toolpath generation and simulation are pleased to announce their partnership with CAD/CAM Solution provider, SPRUT Technology to provide state-of-the art 5-Axis toolpaths for the SprutCAM product range.

SprutCAM, from Russia, is the system of preparation, modeling and controlling programs for 2, 2.5, 3 and multi axis milling. SprutCAM is used at manufacturing moulds, prototypes, master-die, machine elements, original parts and for engraving inscriptions and images.

Now SprutCAM and NCTuner are available in more than 40 countries worldwide. This increased distribution has created a demand for 5-axis toolpath technology and the natural choice was to work with ModuleWorks.

Yury Vishnevsky, Head of Sales & International marketing department, says, “Using an established component allowed us to get a mature product to the market in a quick and cost effective way.  Evaluation, integration and training was remarkable simple for such advanced technology and we look forward to a long and successful partnership with ModuleWorks.”

The 5-Axis module of SprutCAM is due for release in June 2011.
