The new workstations were unveiled today at the National Association of Broadcasting (NAB) Conference at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where nearly 90,000 media and entertainment professionals from more than150 countries convened to hear about the latest technology innovations that are powering the creation, management, delivery and consumption of digital media content.
HP Z210 Workstation
The new HP Z210 Workstation is available in two models, the convertible mini-tower (CMT) or highly compact small form factor (SFF) perfect for space-constrained environments. Both models are ideal for customers in the entry-level mechanical computer-aided design/architecture engineering and construction (MCAD/AEC), video editing, education, public sector, and image viewing markets. Offering a choice of high-performance Intel Xeon E3, AMD or NVIDIA graphics and the latest processors, the HP Z210 delivers increased overall performance of 20 percent or more than previous generation processors.
HP EliteBook w-series Mobile Workstations
The HP EliteBook
8460w mobile workstations are ideal for engineering, power-computing and content-creation customers who need the performance of a workstation with the portability and convenience of a notebook. Building on HP's "FORGE" design framework, the EliteBook w-series showcases HP's first-ever industrial design specific to mobile workstations, with distinctive features including a radial-brushed gunmetal finish, backlit jewel logo and orange-colored accents as well as precision aluminum-alloy hinges and cast titanium-alloy display latches for enhanced durability.
Offering a choice of AMD or NVIDIA graphics and the latest Intel Core processors, HP's mobile workstations deliver improved reliability, faster transfer rates and more accurate manipulation of 3D textures for more intensive animation and complex design. The optional HP DreamColor display on the EliteBook 8560w and 8760w also allows for more than 1 billion active colors.
