2011 Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference Announced

Registration is now open for Attendees and Exhibitors

Phoenix, AZ – February 8, 2011 --The Coordinate Metrology Society (CMS), the eminent membership association for measurement professionals, will hold their 27th Annual Coordinate Metrology Systems Conference (CMSC) from July 25 – 29, 2011 at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. This 5-day event is designed for users of portable 3D coordinate measurement solutions utilized on manufacturing factory floors or by science laboratories. Attendees are quality professionals who can not afford to rely on yesterday’s technologies or methodologies  expert and novice metrologists, manufacturing executives, scientists, students, teachers and more. Attendee registration is now open at https://www.cmsc.org/register/index.php. Conference details for exhibitors and attendees can be found at http://www.cmsc.org.

The CMSC is the place to learn and personally connect with industry leaders at the forefront of emerging measurement and inspection trends. At the heart of the CMSC is a full slate of technical paper presentations…each providing an expert’s view of metrology best practices. The agenda is also action packed with well-attended workshops, standards seminars, user group meetings, and networking sessions.

The CMSC Exhibitor Hall connects visitors with the industrial measurement marketplace featuring portable measurement systems (PCMMs), software, accessories, peripherals, and inspection and measurement services. PCMM technology displayed at the conference includes industrial photogrammetry solutions, laser trackers, laser radars, articulating arms, GPS systems, laser scanners, laser projection systems, theodolites and more.

Call for Papers Continues until March 1, 2011

The Coordinate Measurement Society continues their Call for Papers for the 2011 CMSC. Abstract submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Coordinate Metrology Society and considered for presentation at CMSC 2011. The deadline for abstracts is March 1, 2011.
