Torcy, France, July 23rd, 2010. SIMPOE SAS, headquartered in Torcy, France, is a French software developer specializing in plastic injection molding simulation solutions. SIMPOE SAS announced today the opening of its first US local office, with the appointment of Brad Blake as Vice President of Sales, America.

Mr. Blake will be responsible for all SIMPOE sales and support activity throughout the United States and Canada, including working closely with existing reseller partners and expanding SIMPOE market presence with new value added resellers. He will report to Thierry Leroy, SIMPOE Chief Operating Officer.

Mr Blake comes to SIMPOE with more than two decades in the CAD/CAE industry, including his record as SolidWork’s top global sales manager during its initial five years of existence; his leadership role in building MSC Software’s Americas sales channel; and his brief stints with Trovix and RapidMind in helping drive their acquisitions by Monster.com and Intel respectively.
