Delcam has launched a new Learning Zone on the Delcam TV web site highlighting the benefits of the 2010 version of its PowerMILL CAM system for high-speed and five-axis machining. To enter the Learning Zone, go to
www.delcam.tv/powermill2010/intro. The Learning Zone also focuses on the key features of PowerMILL and the reasons why more and more companies are moving to the Delcam software.

AEROSPACE WEIGHT SAVINGS

PowerMILL made a major contribution to a recent project for the Airbus A400M military transporter at aerospace supplier Tritech. The company was asked to machine from solid the fuel connectors that are located in the wings of the aircraft; a total of 64 variants of these critical components for each wing.

1500TH CUSTOMER IN CHINA
|
Delcam is pleased to announce that the company recently added its 1,500th customer in China; Zhejiang (Taizhou) Jianli Mould Co., Ltd. To mark this landmark achievement, Jiang Fang, General Manager of Zhejiang Jianli, was presented with a plaque by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to China, Sebastian Wood CMG, during the UK Advanced Engineering China Showcase held in Shanghai on 23rd and 24th June.

DENTMILL SUPPORTS GROWTH
|
|
The high level of flexibility in Delcam’s DentMILL dental machining software, plus the impressive customer service from Delcam staff, has helped the Issaquah Milling Center maintain its rapid growth in the face of increasing competition. Similar success at many other customers contributed to Delcam’s CADCAM software for dental restorations being given the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category earlier this year.
