First Ever "Industry Inspiration Day"

As supply chains become more integrated and supplier relationships become more sophisticated, manufacturers are becoming more involved in their end markets than ever before. In fact, manufacturing is becoming more integrated with the leading thinking of particular industries. This year, at the first-ever “Industry Inspiration Day,” leading thinkers from four different industries will help to kick off IMTS 2010.

The keynote program and roundtable discussion will take place September 13, the opening day of the show. Representing the aerospace industry will be Allan McArtor, Chairman of Airbus Americas. From the medical industry will be Rene van de Zande, President and CEO of the Emergo Group. Leading the discussion for the automotive industry will be Jim Tetreault, Vice President of North American Manufacturing for Ford Motor Company. Representing the energy sector will be Denise Bode, CEO of the American Wind Energy Association.
