Pixxures to use SimActive’s Software for DTM Extraction

Montreal, Canada, December 8, 2009 – SimActive Inc., a world-leading developer of software solutions for the generation of geospatial data, is pleased to announce that Pixxures has acquired its Correlator3D™ software. Pixxures, a major US firm, will primarily be using the product for generating digital terrain models (DTM).

“Correlator3D™ now allows us to automatically filter digital surface models (DSM) and extract DTM”, said Mark Stanton, Operations Manager at Pixxures. “To this date, we have been forced to perform this process manually as no other technology could fulfill our requirements. SimActive’s software will allow us to significantly reduce our production costs.”
