ArchVision Delivers New RPC Libraries for Design Visualization

Lexington, Kentucky, October 15, 2002 -- ArchVision, Inc. today announced
the availability of two new RPC (Rich Photorealistic Content) libraries that
build on the existing Moving People category: 2.5D Moving Casual People
(Seniors) Volume 2 and 2.5D Moving School Children Volume 1. The 2.5D Moving
Casual People (Seniors) delivers 16 pieces of content consisting of mature
individuals in a variety of everyday environments and activities. Some of
the activities include:
  • Taking off/putting on a sweater
  • Talking on a mobile phone
  • Looking for something in a purse or bag
  • Various small groups

The 2.5D Moving School Children collection contains 16 different RPC files
school age kids, ranging in age from 4-14, from a variety of ethnic
backgrounds. The motion files depict children in several types of typical
    scenarios, including:
  • Waving
  • Listening to music
  • Putting on a bicycle helmet
  • Playing ball

Since 1998, ArchVision has been creating RPC content; known in the design
visualization community for its ability to represent complex objects, such
as people and trees, photo realistically with minimal system resources.
"Adding realistic moving people to visualizations not only provides an
important sense of scale but also helps convey a sense of activity within
designers' scenes, a growing demand from many clients," says Randall
Stevens, president and CEO of ArchVision.
