PlanGraphics Completes Milestones in Public Safety Projects

FRANKFORT, KY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Mar 13, 2006 -- PlanGraphics, Inc. (OTC: PGRA), announces recent milestones in the delivery of several public safety projects in Kentucky; Washington, D.C.; and Virginia.
-- PlanGraphics made final delivery of server hardware and customized
application software to the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Department of
Emergency Management. This system provides the Commonwealth with data and
Web-based applications to support the Chemical Stockpile Emergency
Preparedness Program (CSEPP) that serves data to local officials and
responders in a 10-county area, state emergency management personnel, and
federal agencies (e.g., FEMA and the Army). PlanGraphics' delivery of the
CSEPP system was a total turnkey solution -- beginning with system design,
database design and data development, hardware and software acquisition,
system configuration, application development, Web hosting and final
switchover to the client. Development of the system was partially funded by
a grant from the Kentucky Science & Engineering Foundation and the Public
Safety and Security Institute for Technology at Eastern Kentucky
    University's Justice and Safety Center.

-- The Washington, D.C., Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO)
has extended PlanGraphics' contract for project management services and
programmatic guidance to its CapStat program. The project focuses on
developing an interoperable infrastructure for emergency data exchange
among the 17 jurisdictions of the National Capital Region. This
interoperability is being developed through the deployment of "service-
oriented architecture" technologies and the development of Web services
that convert raw data into usable intelligence for emergency managers.

-- PlanGraphics has also recently completed two phases of work with
Washington, D.C.-based management consultants Winbourne & Costas to help
Fairfax County, Virginia, prepare to procure a new computer-assisted
dispatch/records management system (CAD/RMS) for use by all of the County's
public safety and emergency management agencies. PlanGraphics' activities
involved reviewing the County's current GIS and public safety capabilities
and future needs and concluded with the development of both technical and
institutional recommendations required for public safety GIS
    interoperability.

Since it was established in 1979, PlanGraphics has provided information technology (IT) and geographic information system (GIS) services to public safety organizations in management and technical capacities. "We are proud to include D.C. OCTO, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and Fairfax County among our successful undertakings," said John C. Antenucci, the company's president and CEO.
