Invensys Demonstrates New SimSci-Esscor Simulation Software and Asset Management Capabilities at Daratech Conference

HOUSTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Jan. 23, 2006— The SimSci-Esscor unit of Invensys Process Systems exhibited here today its latest simulation and modeling solutions for production engineering. Invensys is presenting its Comos(R) FEED integrated front-end engineering design platform, its ARPM automated rigorous performance monitoring solution, a new version of its DYNSIM dynamic simulation modeling environment, its PRO/II process engineering software, and a wide range of new asset performance management capabilities.

SimSci-Esscor is also describing the ARPM solution in a conference presentation entitled "Automated Rigorous Performance Monitoring Provides Asset Performance Improvement." This takes place at 3:30 on January 23, 2006 as part of the Instrumentation and Real-Time Operations track. The presentation highlights the benefits of monitoring and measuring process and equipment performance in real-time and covers improving plant and personnel efficiencies by identifying problem areas, predicting the benefits and economic impact of changes and exploring alternative scenarios.
