Constructware Continues Strong Momentum Closing 2005 with a 250% Climb in New Business and 70% Overall Sales Growth

Alpharetta, Ga., Jan. 12, 2006: Capping another year of continued solid growth and increased market acceptance for its signature Internet-based project management and collaboration solution, Constructware® achieved a 70% increase in year-over-year sales compared to 2004; 250% of which is attributed to new business. The significant increase in new business sales further validates that owners and contractors alike are recognizing the benefits of online collaboration and project management adoption throughout the design and construction lifecycle.

In addition to the significant increase in sales to first-time client companies, the 70% growth is also attributed to a mix of renewals and expanded license purchases by existing Constructware clients. Major multi-year engagements included ENR Top 100 general contracting firms and owner firms in the following vertical markets: retail, financial, pharmaceutical, education, transportation and government. Under the multi-year license agreement concept, the entities will standardize on Constructware as their collaboration and project management solution. Over 28,000 active users are now working in Constructware to manage their projects.

Unger noted several factors leading to the increase in new business for large-volume, multi-year enterprise agreements in 2005, as well as overall increased utilization by hundreds of client firms. These reasons, cited by both large and small companies, included:
