About 50 of the latest products from seven different series, covering world-class products developed by Hisense, are all on display in Hisense's 240 square meters' booth at CES. Various models of different products such as LCD TVs, PDP TVs, Super Slim CRT TVs, and DLPs can all be viewed and tested.
Liu Qinghua, CEO of Hisense, stated, "2006 will see the development of the TV industry's first class SOC chip as well as rapid progressions in Hisense's overseas business. This is Hisense's second appearance at CES. This year's clients have come from different countries in order to see and test our products. It's different from a few years ago, when we were unknown and rented a room outside the hall and seeked out potential clients ourselves." Liu Qinghua also noted that as Chinese enterprises pay more attention on technology, research and development, Chinese brands renowned for "low quality and low price" will be sure to step into the centre of the international market, stepping out of the marginal dangers.
Throughout the duration of CES, Hisense leaders will meet with their counterparts of Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and Kohl's, the well--known distributing channels of the U.S., to discuss cooperation plans in the hope of bringing Hisense products to the U.S. market in 2006. Hisense, may also take this opportunity to strengthen connections with famous IT and consumer electronic enterprises in the U.S.
The Consumer Electronic Show officially opened on January 5th. CES, held annually in Las Vegas, has become a news release room for new products and new technologies ranging from the latest digital video products to the most popular computer games and broadband networks.
