RAPID: Lockheed Martin Approved

Nashua, NH, Jul 18, 2016 – RAPID was announced as an approved vendor for Lockheed Martin as of April 2016. RAPID has been working with Lockheed Martin divisions for a number of years, but the addition to the Approved Vendor list will strengthen and build upon the existing relationship.

Lockheed Martin is an aerospace, defense, security, and advanced technology company that employs over 116,000 professionals worldwide. Lockheed Martin has multiple divisions each having a unique focus and mission. The approved vendor list is provided to employees as a suggestion on which suppliers meet Lockheed Martin’s strict regulations and have a record of providing exceptional service. Being recognized as an approved vendor is a notable achievement.

RAPID has been in business since 2001 and has extensive experience working with time-sensitive and information sensitive projects. RAPID offers Sheet Metal, Machining, and Wire Cable services allowing customers, like Lockheed Martin, to use one vendor for an entire project.

Jay Jacobs, RAPID’s CEO, notes, “The ability for RAPID to be able to work with a pioneer in so many industries will help grow the organization. Lockheed Martin’s ability to go to one vendor for all parts in a single project will improve efficiency and ensure a flawless, completed project.”

Rapid Sheet Metal, Rapid Machining and Rapid Wire Cable are all ISO 9001:2008 certified and ITAR registered from quoting to production.
