PTC and EPAM Partner to Deliver Vertical-Specific Internet of Things Solutions

Integrating IoT Application Development with Deep Domain and Engineering Expertise Offers Customers Significant Growth Opportunity

NEEDHAM, Mass. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — May 12, 2016PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) today announced that EPAM Systems, Inc. (NYSE: EPAM), a leading global provider of product development and software engineering solutions, will combine its extensive engineering and integration capabilities with PTC’s industry-leading ThingWorx® Internet of Things (IoT) platform to build and offer IoT solutions across key verticals, including financial services, life sciences and healthcare, and retail and distribution.

The rapid increase of IoT devices and the rise of data generated by these devices have led many businesses to look for solution providers that can provide cost-effective and easily adaptable IoT applications to fit their specific needs. ThingWorx and EPAM are partnering to develop vertical-focused IoT solutions for end customers in the areas of product development, data, and analytics.
