CIMsystem and Roboris join together to utilize Eureka Virtual Machining technology

July 21, 2015 -- Roboris is pleased to announce that it has signed a Partnership Agreement with CIMsystem to embed its Eureka Virtual Machining technology in their CAM solutions for the mold making industry.

Under the agreement, the tool path simulation provided by the CIMsystem applications will be based on the Eureka libraries, offering a realistic 3D simulation with material removal and automatic collision check. An accurate simulation avoids the potential risks of damaging expensive work pieces, breaking tools or even crashing a CNC machine because of programming errors.

Our business development strategy is based on partnerships within three main channels: CAD/CAM companies, Machine Tool makers, and OEM's”, says Mirko Sgarbi, Roboris co-founder. “Signing this agreement with CIMsystem is a further step in becoming a leading provider of virtual machining libraries to the industry. We are confident that their huge user base will appreciate the additional functionalities provided by the Eureka technology.”

The Eureka capabilities are a valuable addition to our current CAM offering”, adds Emilio Manini, CIMsystem CEO. “We are now able to provide a powerful management and simulation of rapid motions between toolpaths, and to simulate machines with more than 5 axes.”
