GEOMATE unveils Pre-CAD Mechanical Design Validation Software

San Jose, California, July 6, 2015 – GEOMATE Company today released GrafiCalc™ family of software that enables users to conceptualize, analyze, and solve a wide range of mechanical design and engineering challenges with unprecedented ease, speed, and accuracy before committing to detailed design in CAD.

That is possible because GrafiCalc enables users to simply point-and-click to associate geometry and “smart” calculations in the same worksheet to capture the functional intents of the design challenge. Users can then vary parameters in the worksheet to ask and receive instantaneous engineering decision-support information and optimal solution in real time.

GrafiCalc can be used standalone as well in conjunction with Microsoft Office and all popular CAD applications on any computer running Windows Vista, XP, Windows 7, or Windows 8.

GrafiCalc is available in two versions to match needs:

GrafiCalc Elements 7.0 combines the disciplines of sketching and calculating in a single application that enables users to "sketch & solve" design challenges while making informed decisions. Price  $129 (Perpetual License)

GrafiCalc 7.0 includes all capabilities of GrafiCalc Elements plus motion simulation, Goalseek, transient data collection, programmed calculations, and statistical tolerance analysis facilities. Price  $499 (Perpetual License). Price:  $139 (Perpetual Educational License)

Mix N Match: Solution models created in GrafiCalc 7.0 can be viewed and manipulated in GrafiCalc Elements 7.0 allowing users to manage, reuse and share validated intellectual property with all members of the design group.

“Decisions made in the early stages of product development have the most impact on the final cost and performance of any product,” said Shyamal Roy, founder of GEOMATE Company. “With GrafiCalc, users can significantly minimize costly "build-test-fix" cycles leading to faster time to market with higher-quality products.”

About GEOMATE

GEOMATE is an employee owned company based in Silicon valley/San Jose in California, USA with several thousand customers worldwide.GEOMATE vision is driven by the fact that geometry and calculations are inseparable when solving engineering design challenges. Yet, since the Egyptians built the pyramids, engineers have used two separate tools to solve design challenges - one to define geometry the other for performing calculations. This has been a disconnected error-prone process that inhibits innovation. GEOMATE mission is to relentlessly listen to customers to develop, market, and support game-changing software products that enable users to find “first-time-right” engineering design solutions.
