2015 Game Marketing Awards Finalists Announced

Actor, Comedian Jeff Leach to Host Awards Ceremony Honoring Outstanding Video Game Marketers

SAN FRANCISCO and FRAMINGHAM, Mass., March 24, 2015 — (PRNewswire) —  The Game Marketing Awards® (GMA), the first and only U.S. program which honors the top creative work produced by and for the video game marketing community, today announced the finalists for its 10th annual program. This year, the GMAs received a record high number of entries, surpassing 2014's submissions by nearly 20%. The GMAs celebrate the best practices in marketing, promotion and advertising for the video game and interactive entertainment community. Winners will be honored at the 10th Annual Game Marketing Awards, hosted by Jeff Leach, hit actor and comedian best known for hosting appearances with BBC, Current TV and ITV, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

The GMAs recognize marketing excellence in 42 categories, from Outstanding Overall Marketing Campaign of the Year, to Best PR Campaign, Best Game Footage Trailer and many more!  GMA finalists are determined through a rigorous two-step process. In the first step, finalists are selected by a panel of industry and peer professionals. Then in phase two, an Elite Jury, comprised of leaders from all areas of the game industry, holds a final round of judging wherein they determine the Gold and Silver winners in the 2015 GMA competition, which will be announced on April 22 at the event hosted by Jeff Leach
