Shape the Future of PLM at the PLM-IRF Launch, Brussels 27-28 January

Oxford, England. December 17, 2014 --The Launch Meeting for the PLM International Research Foundation in January is likely to be a pivotal meeting in the long-term development of PLM.

More than 50 organisations worldwide have been involved in the initiative so far in the preparatory phase. The meeting in Brussels on 27-28 January is a platform for users, vendors and researchers to discuss the aims, the practicalities, and the structure of international PLM collaboration.

Users should participate in Brussels because the future capabilities of PLM are too important to be left to chance. Forward-thinking industrial companies need to ensure that PLM will be able to match their new ways of manufacture and product creation into the long-term future.

Vendors should participate in Brussels because if the PLM-IRF is established it will create a single PLM research programme that unifies the globe. This will generate an unparalleled drive for adoption in countries that may have neglected PLM until now.

Researchers should participate in Brussels to show the depth of academic support for PLM research, and add their own input to the research scope that has been developed so far.

This is an international meeting. It is open to participants from any type of organisation and from any country. The only requirement is an interest in shaping the future PLM of 10 years' time.

Registration for Brussels is now open, and you can find more information via Email Contact.
