Exprodat Trains on ArcGIS in London Offices and Virtually

Oct 1, 2014 -- Exprodat, the oil and gas GIS services, software and training supplier, is delighted to announce a series of training courses designed to show exploration and production staff how they can maximise the benefit of using Esri ArcGIS within their workflows.

The courses will be held in Exprodat’s home town of London and also offered virtually, for those people who cannot or would prefer not to travel.

Exprodat training courses are designed by staff who have real-world experience of working within oil and gas companies and who understand the challenges of these environments. They have created workflows that use Esri’s ArcGIS software in a wide range of common exploration applications so attendees will return to their companies knowing how to integrate spatial and non-spatial data and hence improve their decision making.

Talking about supporting customers with both classroom based and virtual courses, Exprodat’s Sales Director Jules Cullen commented that; “Traditional class-room based training is still the preferred training delivery option for 90% of our customers but minimising time spent out of the office and reducing the cost of travel is a consideration that E&P professionals are increasingly having to make.

The majority of people attending our courses are geologists, key technical staff with aggressive timeframes and project deadlines; so it’s important that we offer flexible training options. Our virtual courses provide the same interactive experience with our excellent trainers and those who have taken our virtual classes have given us superb feedback.”
