NAFEMS World Congress 2015 – Call for Papers

Call for Papers Open for the International Congress on Simulation Technology for the Engineering Analysis Community.

Deadline for abstract submission is November 17th, 2014

GLASGOW, UK, July 29th 2014 - NAFEMS, the International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community, will hold its 2015 World Congress in San Diego, USA, incorporating the 2nd International SPDM (Simulation Process and Data Management) Conference, from June 21st–24th 2015.

The biennial congress will bring together the leading visionaries, developers, and practitioners of CAE-related technologies and business processes to share relevant trends and roadmaps, explore common themes, and to address these issues in an open forum. The aim of the congress is to provide attendees with perceptive content and perspective on the best way to position their organisations to realize the full potential of CAE both now and in the future.

One Registration – Two Conferences

The World Congress will also host the 2nd International Conference on Simulation Process and Data Management. After an impressive turnout for the first event in Salzburg, Austria in 2013, this ground-breaking conference will bring together industrial users, technology experts, academics and software vendors alike, allowing all those with an interest to take part in the only truly independent, international forum dedicated to SPDM. Attendees, speakers and exhibitors have free access to both events under one registration.

Call for Papers

The NAFEMS World Congress is a conference like no other. Attendees are the very people who work at the sharp-end of engineering analysis and simulation, their managers and executive teams. "We're delighted to be taking the NAFEMS World Congress to San Diego next year", commented David Quinn, Head of Global Marketing and Communications at NAFEMS. "The Congress has cemented its position as the leading independent, international event for simulation and analysis, welcoming attendees from every related industry around the globe to share their experiences and hear about the cutting-edge of the technology with a group of their peers which is unmatched at any other conference.”

Attendees come from around the globe to take part in the event, from every industry involved in engineering simulation and analysis and SPDM (simulation process and data management) - making it the best platform to showcase how simulation is used in your organization.

“We are sure that the 2015 event will be bigger and better than ever”, added Roger Oswald, Congress Manager. “The Congress, and co-located SPDM Conference, will enable NAFEMS to reach as many individuals within the community as possible, which as a non-profit membership association is one of our major goals."

Submission of Papers

The Congress will cover a wide range of topics, addressing every aspect of engineering simulation in a packed three-day programme. Papers are invited on all topics relating to simulation and analysis, FEA, CFD, MBS, SPDM and Multiphysics. NAFEMS invites papers from any area in simulation including, but not limited to, the areas listed on our NWC15 webpage www.nafems.org/congress.

In the first instance, abstracts of 300-600 words should be submitted for consideration by 17th November 2014. Detailed guidelines, as well as an extensive listing of the subjects being considered, are available now at the NWC15 website, www.nafems.org/congress.

There are also numerous sponsorship and exhibition opportunities available. Visit the congress website for full details.
